Recently I have been exploring the ways in which oil paint can communicate the sky’s majesty. I have discovered the joys of glazing, transparent paints and making canvasses with raised, tactile letters on them. I am interested in creating pictures with a visual language that can also be experienced by people who are visually impaired and blind. All my work is very much to do with creating an aesthetic whose voice that can be known with more than the eyes.
